If you break the attendance policy (which is dumb)

The student's parents may have to pay a fine because they are responsible for making sure you attend school.
You and your parents may have to have counseling.
If there is no improvement, then the court will issue a court order requiring you to attend school. If you still do not comply both you and your parents can be arrested.

I know this because my son cut a few classes last year and I was instructed by the Vice Principal of the school that these were the actions that would be taken if the problem wasn't resolved.

Your parents will have to explain why they aren't making you go to school and it isn't dumb. That's what you will end up, not going to school

Your parents can be held responsible and can be sentenced to jail if the truancy continues.
