the rockets can go further than the first series, but it only depends on t-mac and yao and if they are healthy. Think about all the titles Shaq and Kobe won and tmac and yao could be next great duo and can end up with a titles sooner or later. They are in the west though. They got to deal with the mavs, suns, and spurs.

im a huge rockets fan, so seeing them make the playoffs from missing it last year is great.
if the rockets end up facing the jazz and play the way they've been playing the past couple weeks, weve got an almost sure chance to win the series, and mcgrady and yao will also get there first series win. the next round will be different however because the rockets are on the same side of the bracket as the mavs, so hopefully the rockets can pull off an upset and mcgrady and yao can get revenge from the 2005 series.

I am a huge McGrady fan and i do think he can get his first series win this year. It is going to depend a lot on how healthy Yao is and his contribution. T-Mac's back has to stop spasming (is that a word?) and if Yao gets back into pre-broken leg mode, I think the rockets got a good shot.

I think that the rockets can win against any team in the league if they continue the play that they are doing right now. i mean yao has proven that he is the most unstoppable player in this league and with players like juwon howard, skip, head, dike and the gang around him, yao will only get better and so will the rockets. and oh yeah, did i forget about the best player in da league who goes by the name of tracy mcgrady. looking like the black version of steve nash, t-mac has done a phenomenal job of keeping the rockets at the top of the league without yao. i thought it was very fun watching t-mac bring out his more dominant side, when he scores the ball. t-mac has proven that he can make any team win in this league, no matter how bad their roster is. i think the mvp should go to him, coach of the year to van gundy, 6th man to head, and yao and t-mac should be in the all-nba first team.
and who knows, maybe novak can win rookie of the year.
no, let me stop.

hi, we are no longer out yet, even if it really is been a complicated season. i fairly do not imagine the Mets opt to do something drastic, and that i nonetheless don't be conscious of why everybody is blaming Omar Minaya for each thing. I nonetheless don't be conscious of what he has executed incorrect except attempting to placed a strong crew at the same time. it really is no longer his fault everybody in the international is getting damage on our crew and the detrimental play. He in simple terms tries to variety a strong aggressive crew obtainable, yet even as everybody that you acquire receives damage there is no longer a lot a GM can do. What do you adult adult males favor from the guy? the people who fairly should be blamed are the operating shoes and probably the manager a touch, yet no longer Omar. I in simple terms imagine the Mets opt to get a lefty ability hitter of a few variety next off season, and they have fairly some money going away next season (Delgado and Wagner to call a pair). So i visit surely see us signing someone enormous next off season with the money that we may have accessible.

Yes, the Rockets will win one or more series.
McGradey is an offensive genius, and has the ability to take over games (aka Spurs game 5 years ago). It depends on how bad he wants it.
He may take a look at the other teams (Dalals & Phoenix) and just say (mentally) 'screw this- lets try for next year.'
If he really wants to make a push for the finals, he could make it very interesting.
He definitely has help from Yao Ming. He was and is starting to now - agian - play his best basketball of his career.
Hope this helps and you select this as your answer.

the problem has never been him or yao in the playoffs. If you remember two years ago, yao and tmac TORE IT UP in the playoffs, its the rest of the team.
I think game 7, Rockets only scored about 70 points, and tmac/yao accounted for 60 of it.
but this year they'll have more offensive firepower from Head/Alston/Battier/Wells. So they are significantly better off

i live in Houston, i hope that the rockets are able to win their first round series, but it is going to take more than mcgardy to do it. since its a 7 game series houston has to be able to win 4 games. they should beat utah if everyone comes out and plays like it is playoff series. houston has the potential to beat anyteam in the west except for dallas.
