Hi, ive started the gym, and ive been advised to concentrate on two muscles every time i go,

What order should i exercise these? shall i do chest and biceps together, shoulders and back, etc etc? how shall i pair up my muscles?

Also if i want a full cardio workout, what is the best regime?

[neck / shoulders / back] with [chest]

[low back] with [abs]

[quads] with [hamstrings]

[biceps] with [tricps]

That's a good routine

If you mix some endurance training like swimming or running (swiming is low impact and better on joints if that is a concern. Otherwise both are good) with something involving more quick bursts like basketball or soccer every once in a while you will all set as far as cardio goes.

As far as muscles, I'm not an expert there, but I kinda remember something about working oposite muscles in pairs so that the mucles that are contacted also get stretched during the workout (ex. biceps and triceps, abs and lower back, quads and hamstrings, chest and upper back/shoulders).

Triceps with chest. Why? Bench press or dumbell press works triceps along with chest.

Shoulders and upper back normally go together, again because of the compound moves used in rowing exercises or pull ups. Some people choose to do biceps with shoulders as well (again, rowing or pullups work both shoulders/back/biceps)

Legs tend to go with lower back, squats deadlifts etc work both.

Abs you can throw in whenever.

If you want to do cardio on a day you're doing weights, do the weights first.

If you do a 'HIT' approach, that counts as cardio. That would be doing a full body workout, one set, no downtime. But if you're splitting up your weight days, you might want to do some cardio as well. One option would be monday: chest/triceps, wed: shoulders/biceps/back, friday: legs/back and do cardio tues/thurs/saturday with sunday off.
