fish, just like people, have personalities. some are more aggressive than others.

however, there may be a more serious cause. what size tank are they in? two goldfish should be in nothing smaller than a 30gallon tank. you should check water quality. you also might want to give them treats now and then like an orange slice or shelled peas.

only mean ones eat other fish before they're dead... but my sister has a goldfish that killed her tetras... and the tetras would fight sometimes and damage each others' tails...

but fish food is usually dead fish, and if one of your fish dies, the others will "clean up the mess" if you don't take it out quickly!

yes, but the goldfish has to be able to fit the smaller one in its mouth, or at least very close.

Global warming creates many adverse effects in man and animals in every country. One of these is the savage and pathetic misbehavior of domesticated fish.

Your goldfish consume the vital parts of one another due to the non-specific overheating that they each sense, which is caused by greenhouse gasses.

If you own a well insulated greenhouse, it's most likely heated by propane or natural gas. May I suggest you call the providing utility company and have it disconnected. Their phone number may be found on the front page of a statement that was sent you recently.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST

Don't tell them why you desire to disconnect, as they may attempt to dissuade you from canceling their service. (Most utility employees are paid by your use of their product.)

Not only would this act save your goldfish, but it will allow human beings to enjoy diminished crime rates.

If you wish to research this topic, there are several fine White Papers now on the Internet, and may be read at no cost.

GOOGLE: global warming, greenhouse gasses, goldfish, crime rates, utility payrolls

Thank you for your interest doing your part to do what you can, to alleviate this unfortunate situation. I wish others cared as do you. You've made my day!
