Just recently the US has been trying to undermine Russia by moaning about its human rights this and using other propaganda misinformation to gain sympathy to its world wide empire building.
But if you ask the general population of Russia they love how Russia is finaly getting its superpower credentials back from the brink when the US tried every tactic to undermine it and make it a has been. And now because Russia is finaly doing its own world wide policies and helping other nations out the US does not like it. They keep saying how Russian people are brainwashed but havent they ever thought how their own people are brainwashed to think Russia is bad because it dares to stand up to US intimidation.
Lets face it the only other country that could counter American hyper-power would be Russia, all China really is is a nation full of cheap labour and that does not make it a superpower now or in the future. Its technical knowhow and innovation that makes a nation a superpower

Its all propaganda. The more they repeat a lie, the more people believe it.
They repeated for months that Iraq had WMD's without ever showing any proof. People believed it. Theyre now sayin Russia is a messed up has-been, and people are gonna believe it, because they keep repeating it as if it was true and also because its an easy answer instead of having to think about any of it. Never underestimate human laziness.
They also repeat that Muslim extremists are out to kill us all and that we're in a fight for civilization. Bullsh*t. Its just propaganda, spin and cheap scare-tactics.

The only nation that will soon be competition for the US is China. Russia is actually back sliding towards communism again. If they do that, they will just turn back into poverty. They are one of the most politicaly corrupt societies in the world. They also activlely sell weapons to known sponsors of terror such as Iran and vioate UN mandates fairly regularly. Russia is not a country to be looked up to and it is certainly no competition for the US.

You have to be joking, Russia's GDP is that of Los Angeles County. We crushed them in the cold war, with your technology and superior brain power. They have failed to meet specific mandates on their human rights abuses, Russia is a competitor but nowhere near that of the USA. If you love Russia and hate America, go there and live, no one and I mean no one will miss you. America destroyed the soviet union once and would do it again, if there actually was a challenge. you are not real bright and you can take that to your Russian bank
