so...why is Ice cream cake called a CAKE when there is no actual cake substance that would justify calling it a CAKE in it?



I was just pondering this as I was eating CAKE cake...

Personally I really don't like ice cream cake. I would rather eat regular cake at any time...like right now...I could go for some cake...be right back...

Because it's shaped like a cake. "Frozen chunk of immitation cake" wouldn't sell well

Because it looks like a cake and tastes just as good. Also, some ice cream cakes do have some cake in it.

Most have a little cake in it too, it's just kinda frozen. But I'd be just as happy with a scoop of ice cream as is.

i guess because it looks like a cake instead of just being in a tub or box and it is decorated like a cake. good luck.
