Chaos theory in physics is about finding patterns in what appears to be a completely random, disordered universe. In 1992, Margaret Wheatley published the book, "Leadership and the New Science" which is about how new discoveries in quantum physics, chaos theory, and biology challenge our standard ways of thinking in organizations. It showed how our reliance on old, mechanistic models stand in the way of understanding innovation, human relationships and the dynamics of leadership.

It's very interesting, but to be honest, Meg Wheatley's work has had very little impact on management and organization development.

I would suggest you to look at the state of the U.S.A. The goverment is a buisiness as well as the international power in place to keep us going. The chaos we are in now with war and deficit. Drugs abuse and poverty, its a brake down of management. In chaos just make sure your *** is covered that you are not to blame. When something goes wrong everybody starts dodging the bullet.
