For example, If I want the clickable link "News" to take me to CNN, How would I do that?

News

A = Anchor - A link element
Href = Reference - What URL should it point to.
Title = Title - What should be displayed when the mouse is put over the text.

Ok, my guess is that all of the other people who answered your question were too damn technical.

Im desiging a website right now...and (wit the software that i'm using)......i can pretty much creata a link for any object.


Example:.....You want to look at the webpage.....see the word "NEWS"........click it...and it takes you to CNN.com, right????

If thats the case.....you just have to create the text ...place it on the webpage you are desiging...and then hyperlink it to to cnn.com

I dont know if your software has these simple options, but mine does...im able to do the same thing with a picture as well......
