Red Pacus generally get to 20" in the aquarium. These massive fish need about 100 gallons each as a bare minimum. I saw one in a shop in a 210 (72x24x29), and the fish still looked stressed.
The blue acaras are pretty massive too, a good 8" each. They need a good 30 gallons each as a minimum.
If you like big fish, Severums are nice too. They grow to 12" and need a good 50 gallons each.
Oh what I'd do with $2,000 at www.glasscages.com
