i would push for an amendment to equalize the distribution of school funding for EVERY school district in america. every child needs to have equal access to all the technologies, educational, extra-curricular, sports, and music programs that are available only in the wealthier school districts.
currently, i a principal at an inner city school where i have dedicated my career to for over 30 years. as both a former teacher and a current administrator, i know what is out there to improve test scores, to make learning more technologically based, etc. all of my students deserve the very best! ALL STUDENTS ARE NOT BEING TREATED EQUALLY IN THIS COUNTRY. the time has come to come to the aid of impoverished school districts. next week will be too late!

Amendment XXVIII

Section 1: The seventeenth article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.

This would repeal the amendment that made Senators directly elected by the people, rather than chosen by the state governments to represent them in the Federal Government.

The loss of the states' voices on Capitol Hill, and thus their power to prevent the Federal usurpation of states' powers, was followed by some of the most activist and unConstitutional Federal programs and initiatives.

There was a reason that the people and the states were represented in Congress - because the Federal government's powers were derived from the consent of the people and from the consent of the states. With both houses of Congress representing the people, it has become unbalanced. The unhealthiness of this unbalance can be seen in the how large the Federal government has grown.

All words, words, clauses, sections, etc of the form or any Amentments must be study and interperted as written. Any clarifications issued with the help of the unique authors of the form or any Amendments may be used as reference. No interpertation previous that is used. EDIT: many of the ordinary themes in the solutions handle the two 'birthright citizenship', budgeting, or gun rights. we actually do no longer desire 'new' amendments to disguise those products. They already somewhat for sure exist in the form and the Amendments. the popular project is with the 'interpertation' of the form and the Amendments. the excellent shape replace into somewhat merely broken down in the Federalist Papers (between different materials) and the authors of each and every replace have spoken approximately meaning and purpose on the time. What the courts, congress and the administrative do it patently forget approximately concerning the objective and purpose AS defined with the help of the unique authors and take it upon themselves to re-defined what the authors rather 'meant' with a view to greater healthful a particular adjenda or effect. What ought to ensue in the courts, congress and the administrative it to learn the regulation, the circumstances on the time of passage AND the clarifying comments of the author. that could desire to be the quantity of 'interperting' the form and Amendments. The Founders gave us as a u . s . a skill to alter the form. this isn't basic yet that replace into with the help of layout so as that we did no longer have rather a tyranny of the final public. What we now have's a tyranny of Federal Regulators and courts and congress that have be able to function outdoors the meant scope and authority of the form.

A new electoral college. I think this plan makes everyone in every state important.

537 votes...

Winner of the popular election nation wide gets 51 votes - 1 vote from each state + DC. These are automatic votes - Electors cannot change them.

Then the winner of each states plus DC gets the individual electoral vote from that state. (another 51 votes).

Then, each congressional district is up for grabs. After the election, the district will choose an elector to go cast their vote.

This is the best system in my opinion.

If you are a Democrat in say Kansas, your vote counts because it is tallied in the national election even if your Democratic candidate has no shot of winning your state.

If you are a Republican in Minnesota, your vote counts because it is tallied in the national election even if your Republican candidate has no shot of winning your state.

Plus, there are blue districts in red states, and red districts in blue states.

Now everyone's vote counts. No more ignoring the states with small populations that are strongly one way or the other. A few thousand votes more in each state could give you the big prize - 51 electoral votes. At the same time, a 3rd party candidate may actually get an electoral vote by pulling off a district.

LET YOUR VOTE COUNT.

It time that we added an amendment to the Constitution that deals with, and what to do with Illegals. This could be done with ease at the moment, All We the People need to do is demand it from congress.
I have been saying for years that we need to do a Constitutional amendment. We the People need to demand that a amendment to the Constitution states that if your here illegal, You or a born child on our soil can not become a citizen, you can receive no health care, medical supplies, welfare, or any other item that comes free to U.S. citizens, as well as stating that Illegals have no rights under the Constitution as to legal counsel, trail to stay here, or anything that can delay them in our country, just that they will be deported ASAP, to the farthest point in their own country, also in this amendment it will punish employers for hireling with harsh fines, putting owners and CEOs in jail for years requiring them to pay the lost taxes on illegals, lost SS, lost medical collected, lost school fees for teachers, etc., just keep piling on the fees and punishment.
If there are no jobs why would an illegal come here? If there are no jobs, free things for them to steal, no gift citizenship, no schools, no medical then they would go home.
We let in some 1 million legal aliens a year that take years to apply and come, why should We the People just give criminals (illegals) citizenship or any other thing we paid for all our life?

Here the sites you need as We the People to contact your Congressman and demand that this type law is done now, not years from now. Threaten to get this out in your area, to vote them out, etc…

I would require hand balloting. When the hand ballots are counted in the presence of scutineers we can be sure that, whatever else the unscrupulous have done, at least the candidate with the most votes won.

With the new electronic voting we do not have that assurance. Since it seems fairly obvious that at least one major election has been doctored electronically already, we should put a stop to that now.

Further, subverting the process in this way way should be considered treason, and punished accordingly. What can be a greater threat to a democratic state than vote fraud?

All bills passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate shall quote the exact section, clause, or amendment to the Constitution which authroizes such a bill or law.

That would get 'em good!

I would repeal the Section 1 of the 14th (which would take an amendment) This has been grossly misused to protect illegal immigrants and allow for "anchor" babies since we can't deport a mother if her illegal immigrant offspring is a citizen....rediculous

Clarify that there is no birthright citizenship for children of people illegally here.

Specifically, restrict birthright citizenship to a child born here where at least one parent is a permanent resident or American citizen. It was not intended to allow for intentional end runs of our immigration system, and every country in the EU as well as Canada have already done away with automatic birthright citizenship.
