I was raised in the country, so yeah, I've walked a country mile, which is, btw, the same as a regular mile. They call it that because you usually take more time to walk it because you're breathing fresh air and looking at nature as you walk.

Yes, uphill both ways, in the snow wearing shoes stuck together only by duct tape and chicken wire just to get to school. You young fellers have it so easy these days.

Its a reral mile, it just looks and feels like more, because you are generally surrounded by fields and flat land.
