How come lesbian relationship is more accepted than gay relationship?

I don't think lesbian relationships are more accepted than gay relationships. Either people are against both, or are accepting of both types of relationship. Lesbians encounter a lot of hate.

Perhaps you don't actually mean relationship, but just sexual experimentation. I agree that it is more accepted if a straight girl has some lesbian sex. I think this is probably due to the fact that men's sexual approach is usually quite forceful and women may feel safer experimenting with their girlfriends. It is also due to the difference in the way men and women relate emotionally.

Lastly, I think there is an evolutionary reason. Men tend to have stronger sex drive, so if gay sex was okay then they might do it all the time and then men might not go through the extra effort of forging a relationship with a woman and having kids and staying monogamous. So I think societies that disallowed gay male sex probably ended up surviving better than other societies that may have allowed it, and here we are today with those values.

Because in a chauvanist society where white men decide the "norm", they decided that lesbians are hot and therefore fulfill their fantasies, and therefore acceptable. But no white straight man thinks that gay guys are hot. At least they won't admit it. This is a very simplified answer. It also has to do with the fact that women are seen as inferior and therefore non-threatning, at least conciously, whereas gay men, are considered threatning, like it could be catching or something, and will therefore attack a man's manliness and through that their virility, which, they believe, sub-conciously, will screw with their ability to "spred the seed" for pro-creation, our main mission as living beings. Fear= non-tolerance.

from what I've seen, most straight guys like the idea of two girls making out, there's a les scene in every porno, they seem to expect women to enjoy it even if the woman is straight - personally, I have no problem with either gay or lesbian relationships, though I could never be with another woman, don't even know how men can - ew!

I think women are just more accepting of homosexuality than men. Women don't mind gay men or gay women.
Straight men however think that if they are okay with homosexuality than it makes them gay. But the thought of two females together is still makes them "manly" and assures them that they're straight.
That is my opinion of it.

because it is easier for men to see women together then men together. For women its the same to us to matter what. Homosexual is Homosexual. Men get weirded out by men.

So....both sexes accept women whereas not all men are comfortable with gay men.
