What an interesting idea!!! I love it and think its different. I doubt very much that you are going to be able to find something like this in bridal stores, however you can try Davids Bridal, I was surprised at the different dresses they had there. However, I would not get my hopes up by going there (and I almost bet you have already tried). Your best bet is to find a pattern (try your local arts and crafts store that has the most fabric and patterns or look online as you may need a pattern that is a bit older and you can sometimes find these on e-bay for super cheep) and have someone make it for you. It will cost you a pretty penny to have a seamstress do it for you but if you have a family member who is good with a sewing machine your dress may actually be fairly inexpensive to make. You will be able to choose the color/colors of your dress and the style of the dress will be what you are looking for. If you have a theater near you, you may be able to contact their costume department and alot of times their seamstresses are very good and look for extra work and may be able to make the dress for you. Also, if you do not want to keep your dress you may be able to rent a dress from a costume shop (and by this I mean a profesional shop where the dresses are made well not a place that makes costumes just for Halloween). I was looking for a mid-evil dress and was able to find people who made dresses by trade at my local ren-fest so it is possible that if you can find somewhere, where the style you are looking for is their specialty they can make the dress for you also. Another idea you can use is to get a very simple dress and have someone add the flair you are looking for. Another option would be to go to a high class used dress store where they have all different kinds of dresses and you may find just what you are looking for or something that you can add on to. This will either go one of two ways for you... costly... or inexpensive however I do think that you will be able to find the dress of your dreams with a little hard work.

You know what would be cute, and very stylish (read:easy to find) is a dress with polka dots. Ive seen a lot lately that are short, and have lace at the bottom hem, all different colors. I know Ive seen them at Macys, but you might really score at a vintage shop

Remember your hair, makeup, and accesories make up your outfit, too. Polka dots, cinched waist and flared skirt, and cherries are always good!<3
