Where are the best places to take pictures with bluebonnets around Central Texas??

Side of the Highway up North of Austin. Burnet is the bluebonnet capital of texas and they get really pretty around the time of the bluebonnet festival in the beginning of April. You can also try side of 360. Good Luck

There are tons of fields full of bluebonnets every spring along Interstate Hwy 35. You might also consider going to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin proper.

Also another place is on Hwy 71 to I-10 out of Austin headed toward Houston - beautiful ride - there are lot of hills with Bluebonnets!

Head to Walnut Creek Park off Lamar Blvd between Braker and Parmer. as well being a attractive park with water crossings and miles of trails, there are various bluebonnets!

Take 290 toward Giddings, past Elgin they are all over the place, people are everywhere pulled off to the sides of the road taking pics right now.

drive out 2222, im sure there are some beautiful sights past mopac and capital of texas.

also, head out 290 towards houston, those things are just popping out all over!
