Sometimes it's good to get a lot of different perspectives on an issue you believe in. Or sometimes other people are better at searching, I have had that problem myself. Other times you need to know something which can;t be found in your native language and you need some help. All of these are excellent reasons to ask a question when the answer could be found independently. Also, maybe they want to be nice and give someone 10 points.

The reason for people often going beyond a question rather than going on to find a solution by themselves is viewed as follows;
If at all there is a chance to find the solution by themselves then naturally there wont be any sort of question raised.But if it is a very hightime to find a solution by themselves then they naturally go for a question.Thats it..

Oh yes, very important questions... lol. People often do that, tho. Waste points on questions you can easily find on like the internet or something. I guess some ppl are too lazy to find it out themselves...

Maybe they also want to hear people's opinion on the subject they asked about. Maybe they just ask the questions to help get another answer out. This question is super important! Huh? HUH? No.

Some poeple just like to have other opinions. I've asked questions that I already know the answer to, just want another point of view. That's the good thing about YA, you get all kind of points of view to think about and it's all unbiased!

If everybody looked stuff up instead of asking questions here, there wouldn't be any need for Yahoo Answers would there? HAHA

It's strange. Most answers are either from Google, Yahoo, etc. Maybe people are just bitten by the lazy bug.
Cheers!! :)
