First download http://www.winamp.com/ then navigate to
http://www.shoutcast.com/ and find a radio station you like. Then click on "tune in". When a box opens click "Open" not save. Rip cast should open up and then ask what do you want to do. Select rip it with ripcast, while it is being saved on your computer you can listen to the song. I still use ripcast 3.1. I think "ripcast 9.0" will not let you rip more than 9 mega bits at a time, but ripcast 3.1 doesn't always work with every station. Do a search for 3.1 if not on ripcast site.

No site for free music is legal.
The best thing to do is to share music but its some things you must do when sharing not to spread.
The closes thing for you would be Bearshare or Limewire.

Try limewire or MP3 Rocket. You can get them both from www.downloads.com. The both have the free version, regular speed or you can purchase the turbo. If you decide to buy the turbo version, go directly to their website..
