There is a poem I once heard a teacher reading to a group of 9 year olds. It was titled WHY?
It followed the pattern of a mother doing daily chores and the child constantly questioning why???
The mother answered questions like why are you putting the kettle on (to make a cup of tea) why are you making a cup of tea (because I am thirsty) etc....
Children learn in all situations everyday of their life. Even if it is walking through the park and pointing out the different trees. Every child should feel confident enough to extend their own learning (they are always responsible for how much they want to learn) through asking questions.

Well if they didn't ask questions they wouldn't learn anything. They could watch tv all day but i dont see any education from that. Observation and taking an interest by asking questions is a very important part of the learning process.

We now do not ignore that the play section in college is as major as the different to a baby's preparation. Asking question is one way a baby accumulates major understanding ( no longer continuously the case on Yahoo).both encouraging a baby to point new ideas in that ecosystem facilitates both imaginative concept and builds the youngster's self belief.

Because if they don t , they fear to be individual, and so becomes like the hyprocrite sheep that are the people of today.
By asking questions when your young, your not afraid to think in life for yourself instead of following others.
There s enough sheep in the world, we need more thinkers instead of robots.

Einstein once said, 'The only difference between me and everyone else is that I ask a question and keep going until I find an answer that I like'.

Because you want to encourage them to question things and look for answers. That's how you get scientists later in life. If they don't, that's how you get assembly line workers later in life.

children ask questions to feel good.yes!because when they ask questions it makes them feel equal to adults, they need to discover things and to get information in order to transmit it to others and that's great because it makes them develop their personality.a child who is not able to ask questions is not ready to learn.

They won't learn anything if they don't, and they won't develop any sense of curiosity which is a huge part of how people become educated.
