I just want to know why they do it. It makes me feel unattractive when my boyfriend does this - like he appreciates another woman more than me. Should I take it that way or am I overreacting? Sometimes he'll describe a woman as a"cute little thing with blonde hair and blue eyes" or "five feet and maybe 100 pounds". I'm 5'9" and 130 pounds with longish auburn hair and green eyes. I'm not overweight, but I'm not some cute "little" thing either and I feel like I'm being compared. I know that I look good with long legs and a nice shape, but his comments make me feel "less than". Why do men do that? I've also heard "I'd do her". I guess that's a compliment..............

Cause your boyfriend is an idiot, an doesn't have the common sense to not say things like that. tell your boyfriend to look me up ,i'll give him a good lesson on relationship do's & don't 's.

I am a woman that hangs out primarily with men... so I hear a lot of that going on... but you have to understand something... if you are not telling him that it bothers you how is he suppose to know? Perhaps he has friends that are girls that it doesn' t matter because they are friends... hopefully you can respectfully tell him that you don't really care to hear him talk about other women or girls in that sense.... saying a girl is pretty or beautiful... I don't see anything wrong with it... but the way it sounds it's a little derogatory... you wouldn't want to hear some of that about yourself either, so why would you want to hear it about someone else, right? But if you don't let him know, then don't expect him to be able to read you mind....hope this helps put things in perspective...

You need to get a new boyfriend. I have never dated a guy who commented on other women. Your man is being a jerk. This is not how men who truely care about their women, treat them. If you keep the man you have, you will be miserable the whole time. Thank you and good luck.

Think about it this way... If he wanted to be with another girl he wouldnt be with you!! He loves you and your company.
dont give him a hard time about being honest!
Im sure you are beautiful and he thinks so (he wouldnt be with you if he didnt find you attractive)
Next time he compliments another girl just smile and agree
"aww yea shes cute."
but if he dwells on it and mentions the same girl everytime then you can let out your claws till then just relax.

Feel flattered that he trusts you enough to be honest......If you can't deal with it then I suggest you find a guy that that wears blinders and won't trouble your fragile ego with his feelings and opinions.

Start doing the same and see how he likes it... he might get the hint!
