I consider myself relatively intelligent- probably somewhere in the upper 50% of the scale relative to other people. There are many many people who are more intelligent, though. I'm above average in intelligence, but not by much.
It is intelligent to recognize your own intelligence, just as it's intelligent to recognize any other truth. Ideally, we would all have a clear understanding of our own strengths and weaknesses. However, it can be difficult to see ourselves clearly because objectivity when observing our own person is almost impossible. It is unwise to either over-estimate or under-estimate either our strenghts or our weaknesses.

Yes. and Probably Yes. I am intelligent, and CORRECTLY recognizing that in myself (or anyone else) is an intelligent act.
Why? . . The recognition and use of one's resources in life, both obvious and sublime, is an intelligent act. And one's personal intelligence is just such a resource.
Of course, the key word is "correctly". Evaluation of one's personal intelligence must be made with appropriate evidence. Without evidence, declaring oneself as intelligent is simply foolhardy. Evidence would include feedback from respected sources, success in a given field of endeavor, mental comfort in surroundings that confounds most others and/or repeated and intentional performance of intelligent acts.

There are definatly different levels of intellect.
Intellect is a subjective.
There is also different sorts of intellectual smartness. Congnitive, nature, emotional, social, etc.
Some people do flaunt their intelect, which would be considered by some an act. As for myself, I don't believe I put on any "act" I am just who I am. to some I might appear very intellectual and others might think me to be average or below average intellect, compared to their own knowledge.
I personally don't care what others think of my brain power....it just is what it is.

The only reason I think I might be intelligent is because other people have told me that all my life.

isn't intelligence only easy experience which you're certainly born with and existence journey. If smart existence exists why is the planet one in each of those entire mess. of course so called smart people write books and make videos approximately it, take their money and then take a seat on the sea coast.

I am smart enough to know I wish I was smarter, and intelligent enough to know I must continue learning all my life. And I must share my knowledge with others.

Yes, yes. In comparison to others (which is all it can really mean), I seem to be intelligent.

Relatively to other people yes, but in the big picture that doesn't say much.
It leads to pride, so no.
