Have you ever heard of people in society who kept saying stuff like "c'mon , whatever you do/choose, just DON'T become a musician, or artist. Why? Because these jobs are very unstable, especially with so many musicians/artists newcomers these days, the 'cycle' will end soon,...and that's it! You're gonna be BROKE, ..so artist/musician is NOT LONG-term profitable job/career! " , and thus kept recommend you to do the 'conformist' "Office/factory" rat-race job/career!

I don't know,..but I personally have a serious problem with that mainstream's notion.
Because I've seen that MANY artists/bands who have 'ended' his/her/their cycle, ...usually can STILL make profits, from Solo album/projects, or composing songs for Other artists, or goes into movie-industry,...or even by their "famous-ity" , can EASILY venture-out doing some 'artistic' business that they LIKE.
i mean, these artists aren't just gonna "go back to office / factory-settings" , after their "fame-periods", am I right?

Regardless of what anyone else tells you to do, you have to do what you enjoy. Life is short.

The odds of making it big in any artistic profession are slimmer than normal, and for people whose motivation is fame and fortune, those are long odds. However, it is possible to make a decent living without getting all the way to the top of the pyramid - backup singers, studio musicians, sound engineers, coffeehouse bands, etc. all manage to survive without too much drama.
