Check out www.ghostresearch.org/ghostpics, for some photos that would freak others out!!! And maybe tell some real life stories of hauntings? You can some of them from Yahoo Answers.
Or, try to draw the curtains, and do the talk with just a candle on- and ask a friend to keep blowing off the candle without letting anyone know!

A speech about ghosts can truly be interesting. Support it with facts such as actual details of different haunted places, different known ghosts....I would love to see actual evidence that these exist at certain places....Maybe tell of the sightings with the legend or myth to go along with it. why do no longer you look somthin up approximately ghost on internet or in a library? are there ghost ? what are they , are you able to coach attempt to contain the class on your speech with the help of mystirieus questions and such

try to bring real life time stories..from the net.
show it to the class in the form of a presentation, mabe using a projector which can give the desired effect.
u could try tohe number and alphabets board to draw in spirits (if the teacher allows u to do so).
switch off all the lights in the room to give that eery sensation to all present, and make ur voice as soft as possible so that the pupils will have to strain their ears to hear you(but see to it that they listen to u also)
you could also give slow background music, which can have a scary effect to the class..
there are so many more you could do..rest is in your hands..

To be interesting you should point out the different types of ghosts and the different physical occurrences that happen in places. Talk about EVP's then top it off with any fraud and undeniable proof of spirits.
