Okay, so I had a girlfriend for 3 years. Yes, we did things.. but it was much more than that.. she was my best friend, and the love of my life.. But since then I havent had any serious relationships with girls, and havent really been attracted to a girl since her. So was it just curiosity? or what?

It was what it was, why label it? Gay, Bi...piff...other people need to know things like this, not you. (IMO, of course. Perhaps you have some other reason for wondering).

You loved another person, that's all that you should concern yourself with.

The fact that she was another woman is frankly irrelevent to all who matter and to those to whom it is relevant... well, they don't matter.

It could just be that you were attracted to her because of who she is. Don't worry about putting a label on it. It sounds like you are just one of those people who looks past the exterior, and loves someone for who they are, whether they are a man or woman. That's a great thing, you shouldn't feel the need to box it up and put it into a category so other people can judge you. Just as long as you know who you are.
