i've playing SIMS 2 on my PC and i just bought Open for Business and Glamour life. will i loose my SIMS 2 people and families after i install them?? i dont want to start from the beginning. please advise.

well, yes and no......lemme explain...
when you install a new expansion pack, the game converts all your saved files to a type that the expansion pack will be able to read. If you ever decide to uninstall the expansion pack, then you will basically lose all your games and such....there's an easy solution though....
and here it is....
....just make a backup copy of your files, and then store them someplace else. just go to "My Documents" and then "EA Games" and when you see "The Sims 2" copy that file somewhere else....that way you won't lose the files if you ever uninstall the expansion pack!

no you wont lose any open for buisness is just an addon for makeing a buisness employing staff and selling stuff.
when you open your first shop you will need to tell the shop what you want to sell i got really frustrated because i opened mine and no one was buying. i then realised nothing was selected to sell.
