No elitism unless you attach it yourself!
Your level doesn't put people off answering! Sometimes you might only get 1 or 2 sometimes you'll spend half the night reading the answers!
The top Contributors are a new idea and it just means they spend a lot of time in certain categories! I usually look to see which and most do seem to be knowledgable in the field or give funny and witty answers!
don't take YA too seriously! It should be FUN!!!!!!!

It could be the type of questions you are asking and the time of day you ask them. The crowd on here changes throughout the day and the week and a question that goes over really big in the morning might flop in the afternoon.
Just keep trying.
