first of all you have got to know what killed it. if it was insects you have to get rid of them. if you over fertilized and burnt the lawn then maybe the spring rains will be enough to cool it. anyway, you will want to use a garden rake and rake the ground then throw out some seed and hope the birds don't eat it all. you can buy treated seeds the birds won't eat. for instant lawn you can use sod but it is expensive. good luck

It may just be dormant, but you may need to run the tiller over it on a high setting and then rake in new seed.

Burn the grass...then sprinkle some seeds down onto it..Water daily!

I would replace it with sod. Then maintain it with watering
and feed & weed.
