I am a Stars fan and in today's salary cap NHL winning the division means nothing. Everyone has a shot to win it all this year. After last years early playoff exit who cares if they win the division. Just get in the playoffs.

The Ducks will likely take the division because I don't think that there is enough time left for either the Sharks or the Stars to catch them in the standings. They both benefit from having games left against the Ducks, but I don't see either of them catching the Ducks, which hurts me to say because I love the Sharks. The more interesting thing is who'll finish 2nd and end up playing either Nashville or Detroit in the first round? The race for second place in the Pacific should be a very entertaining one down the stretch.

The numbers say Annaheim. All of these teams should be .500 or better in the last 10 games... so I don't think Annaheim will fall apart. All of these teams are very good so I don't expect a hic-cup... if for some reason Annaheim crumbles I would bet on Dallas for the division (given that Dallas has won 6 or 7 division titles in the last 8 years... and the Sharks have not fared well against divisional rivals this year).

I'm a Stars fan too, but I think it's going to be the Ducks. Hopefully the 7th seed will knock them out!

i imagine the Sharks will be first in the Pacific, yet no longer in the West. The Sharks are the great crew in the west, yet are in a tough branch. Detroit will likely have more advantageous factors at season end because of their more straightforward agenda.

Anaheim. They have too much going for them, as well as the points lead. BUT... all that matters is that your team is going to make the playoffs. Home ice is nice, but it only matters if you win. Winning the Cup is all that makes any difference. I don't know if your team will win, but that is all you should really care about. The division title really does not mean much.

The Anaheim Ducks. Selanne will be very productive over the reamining games =]. Giguere will play well and their defense will step it up.

Unfortunately Anaheim will. They have to much of a big league, with little amount of games left.
