I've been married for 17 years and it's hard to get my wife to make love to me why? She won't try anything that will spice up our love life what should I do?

Keep trying to talk to her and find out why she doesn't want to try anything new. It could be that she is shy about it or she doesn't understand your desires... Let her know how important it is to you, and if she still doesn't understand suggest professional help.
Sex should not be a negotiation between partners and both of you should be happy with it, you shouldn't have to settle for a sexless life...

I WISH I had been married for 17 years. My ex was a total psycho. I cannot even describe the kind of evil, manipulating Satanic person that she is adequately enough. Be thankful that you are still married.
Spice? You must be joking. Think about the spice of going through a divorce where she gets everything. Not half, not 3/4, but absolutely everything. If you want spice, create it for yourself. Talk to her, but do not push or demand. EVER. If you are bored, take up a hobby that takes your mind of off sex. I am only 43 and I have not had any sex for nearly 5 years. Dealing with my ex was that traumatic. I used to like sex. Now I cannot stand to be around any women for more than a few minutes. Don't get me wrong, I am not gay, and I still like looking at women, but I absolutely cannot even be friends with a woman.
Be thankful for what you have. It could be much worse, and that kind of "spice" is not worth the price.

Most men forget about romance. If you start giving her the full romance package they tend to reciprocate with a heightened sense of sexuality. The more romantic you are the more responsive they can be to suggestion. Candle light dinners, opening doors, holding hands, body massage, running your fingers through her hair, mood music, touching without leading to sex every time, catering to her(getting her drinks, food, becoming her houseboy), and anything else that makes her feel like a queen.

Yu need to do a reality check and see what yur priorities are.Yu did not mention how old you are to think even crazy about sex. What is this with men, after they hit the middle age, they want to act like teenagers. Get your priorities straight and be proud of your family and children. Women, after they become mothers, they cannot be the same as before.
