To my knowledge its not how big/heavy they are that determines if they're ready to breed

Generally most Leo's don't reach sexual maturity until they are about 1 year old.

If you are breeding you must make sure that your Leo has plenty of calcium since she will be making eggs this is going to use up a lot of her calcium.. Keep a dish w/ just calcium powder in her cage so she can lick at it when she needs it. Leo's are pretty good at this. you can also dust your cricks/mealworms. but mealworms tend to not hold the calcium as well as crickets do... You can also look into phoenix worms. they are high in calcium naturally.

GOOD LUCK on your breeding!

Size doesn't really matter. It's up to the gecko when it's ready. Most reach sexual maturity at about a year old. I've been breeding leos for 5 years. If you have any questions feel free to email me. brandibear1983@yahoo.com

size does matter for females, i beleive 85 grams or so is the minimum for a breeding female. she is way to small to begin breeding her, i would definately wait until next season.
