hi, i just had a c section about 6 weeks ago, and have been avoiding sex, but i have had an org. is this okay? and 2 weeks ago, when it had been 4 weeks since my section, i had an org, but 2 days later i started bleeding again, i had already completely stopped bleeding before that. so i went to the hospital and they checked me out, and they said that they thought it was just my period, but today i had an org, and it kinda hurts just a little when i turn to my right side, is this normal? and will i start bleeding again? was the reason i bled last time because of that orgasm? can someone please help me and answer my question, i am scared lol

Everything you are feeling is normal... and don't worry about orgasms... you just can't put anything in to your vagina for 6 weeks. External stimulation is okay. :) So don't worry... You are fine!

If you are this concerned you should call your OB's office and speak to a nurse about this, but here's my 2 cents:
You have 2 things going on - one when you have an orgasm muscles in your abdomen contract and so do parts of your cervix and uterus. When you had these contractions at 4 weeks you probably loosened up some 'stuff' and that could be why you started bleeding again.
Today you have some pain in your side - it is near your incision? If so, it's your cut muscles being worked out. And you may spot or bleed a bit. But I think you are just fine, just still healing.

Ok. I've has two c-sections and I know. You will bleed forever since it is a c-section. This org. of yours did not have much to do with the bleeding. I can't imagine you wanting sex or the org. though. Tell your hubby to give it a rest. Besides it's still gross down there. Heal first completely. Do you want to open your stitches?!!!!!

I don't think there's anything wrong w/ having an orgasm after having a baby. Doctors want you to wait 6-8 wks after giving birth just so the birth canal has some time to heal. As for causing your bleeding, the orgasm may have just helped you get rid of any excess blood and/or tissue from when you had the baby. You may be a little sensitive to anything sexual, so take it easy for a few days and see what happens. You need to rest in order for your body to heal, so don't overdo it sexually. If it gets to be bothersome, definitely consult your ob/gyn.

your body is still getting back to normal. I think you will have residual bleeing off and on. There's no text book timing to say when you will stop bleeding for good until your body resumes its normal cycle. If you are concerned, talk to your ob, but I'm sure you are ok!

What did you use to have an O? Avoid using anything large like a baseball bat or a tonka toy. Other than that, having a O should not cause any problems.
