I hate the coverage on CBS and wish ESPN would get the rights to cover the tourney! CBS takes way to many commercial breaks and it is so annoying! When there is a timeout and then a min later a TV timeout and both times they go to commercial it drives me up the wall because it just drags the game out more and more! And they need to put games that are close and about to end on more often rather than sticking with games that are blowouts or just starting! It is horrible

EVERY tournament CBS covers is the worst ever, from Billy Packer right on down to poor Greg Gumbel. I'm just grateful they bother to SHOW a few of the other games; I keep thinking the only thing they'll carry is UNC, Duke (fat chance of that after the first round, huh?!), Kansas or Kentucky.
I think there are a few good hoop announcers on CBS; I like Gus Johnson and Ian Eagle who help a game, not hurt it. But everytime I think that I remember that I'm only a flick of a CBS switch away from having to put up with Packer and Nantz.
When it comes to covering college basketball, CBS proves every year that they're a great golf network. They should stick to golf and let the big boys who know what they're doing (i.e., ESPN) carry the college hoop.

I agree. However, it isn't just that they don't show complete games. They don't even cutover when they SHOULD. They seem to just randomly cutover just to break things up.
As an example, I was watching the VA Tech game last night (I live in the DC area so that makes sense). There were more than twelve minutes left in the game. I simply could not believe that CBS didn't cutover to the UNLV/Wisconsin game, which was under 1:00 minute to play and was very close game (within 5 points).
I don't get it.

I have to agree. They have cut away from both KU games.
Yes KU was leading by large margins but I live in the middle of Big XII country and they didn't even cut to the other Big XII team playing at the time.
Granted on Sunday Texas was getting blown out by USC but I could have really cared less about seeing Memphis/Nevada when there were two Big XII teams playing at the same time.

Any game that is done by Billy Packer is a bad game to watch, unless you turn the volume all the way down and NOT listen to him. He is simply the WORST announcer out there - opinionated and has no idea about teams that aren't on a coast.

It sucks balls on CBS. I will enjoy watching Ohio State or Texas(used to till they got whooped), and then they will switch to another game, and all of the sudden when they return to Ohio, they lead changes dramatically, and I don't know the hell is going on. Down with CBS! Down with CBS!!!
