i was thinking about buying a ps3 but people have told me to stick to my xbox 360, is there any differents between them if so what are they, are the graphics the same, game play etc...
is there any sites that i can go on to find out

The Playstation 3 has more power than the XBox 360, but the game lineup and gameplay is by far better on the XBox 360. The price is much better for the Box, and unless you have a 1234567890p resolution televison, you won't get much better graphics in the PS3. The meshes (3D models) have such detail on the PS3 that many of the very detailed faces can not been seen by the human eye and are basically wasted. I'd stick with the 360.

I'm a fan of the PS2 but given a choice I would stick with the 360. The PS3 will have so many problems at launch, never mind the huge price. Try to be brave and wait about a year for a price drop and the bugs to get sorted. If I were you I'd be happy with the Xbox 360 for now.

yo keep the 360
1. the ps3 graphics are like 2% better thats it.
2. games 4 360 r way better (gears of war , HALO 3)
3 360 has the best online multi player. (xbox live way better than ps3 online crap)
4. blue ray is = to HD

the ps3 has a 60 gb drive uses blue ray and the graphics are outta this world ignore everyone else.It may cost a bit more but it's worth it i heard u kan even cook stuff on it but im not sure if that's true or not.So if it's high quality gaming ur looking for get the ps3.

good ps3 points:blue ray,powerful disk drive,good graphics
Bad ps3 points:no vibration in controller,controller loses sync wit console too easily,expensive
Good 360 points,controller is adapted to hand,doesnt lose sync,cheaper that ps3,beter games,better online experience
Bad 360 points:controller battery pack falls out,not too great for movies,not a great game range ...yet,
so over all:360 is better for games and online play how ever ps3 is more useful for HD movies but is more expensive and un comfortable gaming

The PS3 will be the most powerful gaming machine ever released. it has 60GB harddrive and Blue-ray DVD player.. and some other tings.. but it is quite pricey so stick to your 360!

360 has decent games. ps3 grafx will be slightly better, but not $200 better. i'd stick to the 360 if I was you.

the PS3 uses blue ray that can take about 50 gig on a disc, so your games will be in HD, but i will wait before i buy it dew to blue ray is new and new means bugs

i would go for the ps3. it already comes with a blueray disc player and those alone go for about $600 and up. you will get more bang for ur buck.
