Gotta love those "gifted middle children" (it takes one to know one... the stories my brothers could tell)!
If your kids like spicy food, try seasoning the chops with a rub, spray lightly with Pam for Grilling and grill. We use the cookout calculator at charcoalbob.com to get grilling times for pork chops so that they come out nice and juicy, regardless of the thickness.
Then, put a little of the kids' favorite bbq sauce in a dish and they can dip into it just like you would shrimp sauce. (Actually one of our kids claims he invented this idea.)

We're having leftovers from the weekend. My son complains a lot about food too. He's obsessed with eating out or ordering pizza! If I cook anything, he complains that he wants pizza or chinese food!
