You obviously wanted a budget laptop and it looks ok to me. It got the same processor as my Acer laptop and it runs fine for surfing the net and general microsoft word etc. It won't be vista premium compatible though but who cares.

Looks as though vista is crap on basic machines anyway. If you added another 512mb ram it will be a better machine and then you will end up paying roughly what I did for my Acer which as 1gb.

Hope you are happy with it

Looks fine. Take it to a repair shop if you're upgrading, and consider replacing the RAM with a 1 Gig rather than adding a 512Mb, because there are problems you can encounter with adding RAM.

Hope that helps,

Enjoy your laptop!

Yep, defo need more RAM (preferably 1gb if poss), without it your screwed because it has built in graphics which will use RAM as well, but it will be ok, not a flier, but it aint expensive either, looks ok to me, not really much else that can be changed on it apart from the RAM.

yes it is pretty good some things to consider once bought would be to put in another 512mb of ram and also to put windows vista on it.

that's ok... counting on your needs. I likely wouldn't have lengthy gone with the sempron processor that's older and old. and that i'd have lengthy gone for a computer with homestead windows Vista instead of Xp specialist.

I would not buy anything without a dual processor.
Celeron M laptops have been around for 2 years.
