I'm sitting here staring at a First Response Pregnancy Test...I don't know whether or not I should take it...It tells me it can detect pregancy 5 days before missed period.

Last period: feb24th
Ovulation: Had stringy cervical mucus March: 9
Preggo symptoms: sever back pain saturday night, last night, my nipples felt like they were on fire. They've only felt that way last time I was pregnant....I miscarried on January 17th.

SHOULD I TEST NOW? SHOULD I WAIT?

hubby is coming home in 2 hours....

It's probably too early - just be patient and wait until you're actually late with your period. Otherwise you'll just be spending a lot of money on tests that won't be giving you any info. I know they advertise early results but they'll also tell you the accuracy of the results decreases with every day prior your period down to under 50% on the 4th day before your period is to start.

I would wait for husband to come home. I am now 4 months pregnant and I took a First Response and the week of my period and for some reason it came out negative and the one test that I took from Dollar Tree for one buck was positive. So it might work for you, if not get one from the Dollar Tree it works great.

You might be able to get a positive this early with that test. If you can't stand it, test and see, if it's negative, wait until the end of the week and try again. G/L!!

I tested before my missed period with all my kids and never used urine first thing in the morning. If you test and it is a neg. wait a few days and test again.

you don't have to use first morning urine but I would suggest you wait until you haven't peed for a few hours if you're not going to use FMU. If the test comes out negative now, test again in a few days.

Good luck!

Well I can tell you after a misscariage you should not be trying right away they say to wait two periods before trying again. I lost my baby at 6 months and they told me to wait three cycles. And now I am expecting twins after I waited the three cycles. I got pregnant the first time we tried but you should wait.

Test first thing in the a.m. That's the "best" urine, and plus...if positive, what a way to wake up your hubby, huh?? :) Good luck!
