I try to be respectful towards people of all types- gay, lesbian, black, white, whatever. I even have friends or acquaintances who happen to be lesbian/bisexual, and I find them to be good people over all.

However, I look at porn somewhat regularly (maybe several times a week) and about 70% is "lesbian" porn. The idea of beautiful women with other beautiful women is very exciting to me, yet I worry that I'm offending some people by looking at their orientation as a sexual fetish. I don't think I have the courage to ask to "watch", but if two women happened to kiss in front of me, I wouldn't complain.

So is this disrespectful? Am I offending anyone by thinking about them like this? I know that some lesbians do get bothered by guys who "like to watch".

Any thoughts at all?

Well, like I said, I don't think I quite have the nerve to ask (Though I did look once, but these people were friends of mine and somewhat exhibitionist anyway), but I wonder if i'm lumped in the same group as the guys that do.

I'm a guy who likes lesbians (not exclusively, just a preference). Why would that make me gay or bisexual?

Sorry, by "good people overall" I mean t that they're not perfect (nothing to do with their sexual preference) but I still like them on the whole.

You definitely aren't being disrespectful. In fact, you've totally won me over with your sweet question worrying over this . . . it's really nice.

You can't be faulted for what turns you on. Asking to watch or join in with a female couple isn't even disrespectful (how else are threesomes formed?); the only thing that is disrespectful is expecting them to say yes, assuming their lesbianism isn't real, etc., etc..

Take it from a woman who constantly fetishizes lesbians, gay men, and transsexuals- liking your fantasies doesn't mean anything bad- in fact, it's somewhat a compliment. Only your behavior can be disrespectful, and I imagine you'll take care with that and won't offend anyone.

Rest easy.

Homosexuality does not automatically mean your into "sharing" the experience in the bedroom. Just because someone kisses in front of you it is not working up to an invite for a group entertainment thing. Gay/les are just like anyone else. Some are very open and liberal and some are very shy and would never do the exhibitionist thing. Be careful who you ask. It could hit a very sensitive spot!

Fantasies of any type can't be considered disrespectful.. after all they are only fantasies! But what concerns me is that you say your lesbian/bi friends are 'good people over all'.... that seems to me that you consider that they are good DESPITE their sexual orientation... so you are actually looking down on them because of it :(

Perhaps it was just the way it was phrased but it put me off. I don't think lesbians are any more into exhibitionistic sex than straight people are.. but both watching and being watched are common fantasies and I'm sure if you looked in the right places you could find someone whose fantasies coincide with yours :)

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Most lesbians I know need a little meat in the middle from time to time, if you know what I mean? Theres nothing wrong with being turned on by two beautiful bodies involved in the act of sweet lovin'. Thats like saying " it doesn't offend you that i'm asian, does it?" And if people are offended by it F U C K THEM! their to stupid to even know why their offended in the first place. KEEP WATCHING AND WHACK ON MY FRIEND.

I have watched soft-core lesbian activity, on screen, with lesbian friends. It's called "the L word".

I even tape it for them, and they are happy.

HOWEVER I suspect that, like straight porn, lesbian porn bears little resemblance to what actually happens in the bedroom.

i don't think that it's disrespectful as long as you respect there privacy... i mean you can't just stare at them unless there the very free spirted type who get turned on by someone watching...if you know the girls then ask them and tell them that you like watching lesbian porn if you don't know them then just kind of secretly watch...

I don't think people like to be watched having sex but some can do it for money. When people do it for money ( porn )they don't mind you watching. Actually the more people that like watching them the better they like it cause they can get more money for the next shoot.

I don't think it's disrespectful at all. I'm more inclined to think you are gay or bisexual. I hope you are not offended at what I've just said. Take care!
