i dont have alot of memory left on my comp. so i would like to erase some songs from my itunes library that are alreadyon my ipod, but when i do they get taken off my ipod when it syncs . help!!!

So far, I have not figured that out. I don't think there is a way because ipod will sync with computer completely. Maybe someone with way more computer knowledge than me could tell you, but I don't think that songs are a major memory user and you could find other culprits that are taking up alot more memory than the songs----that is unless you have like thousands.

You need to turn off automatic syncing. In iTunes click on your iPod (under Devices in the lefthand bar) and click "Manually manage music" in the Options section at the bottom. Only catch is that now you'll have to copy new songs onto the iPod by hand.

Change your ortions to not automatically sync when you connect your ipod. Only problem is when you add new songs to your library, you have yo manually add them to your ipod also.

Your iPod will only get songs that are in your library. If you remove them from your library, they will be deleted from your iPod.

try deleteing all the songs u want deleted then sync it and a pop up window should come up but if the pop up window doesn't then u probably won't be able to

the only way is to put the music on a flash drive then re sync
