Excuse me if I don't seem sympathetic, however I worked with and for persons with disabilities for over 16 years and have seen people who were blind; quads; mentally ill; mentally retarded; beset by illness; etc et c etc...WORK and support themselves....That's what the American Disabilities Act was all about.

So you will have to be clearer on why YOU cannot work ....

You say you live with your parents; then you say you have no relatives or friends. Seems to me you have relatives AND two friends in your parents.

Get up off you touche and stop feeling sorry for yourself and MAKE a good life for yourself.

P.S. This is not an issue of being 'nice' or not nice...it is the real world...and as a professional who has gained decades of experience in working with those with disabilities of ALL types I do know what I am talking about. You speak of 'not gov. recognized] the government recognizes hundreds if not thousands of disabling conditions to include mental illness and those illnesses not 'visible'

God bless you.

Did you see a vocation or guidance counselor? Did you try SSI?

Can you prove your disability through medical records to the state like x-rays or medical conditions?

Above Answerer was not nice. Some people have Schizophrenia or mental illnesses, and they cannot function in society or they have conditions not everyone can see. Please be compassionate!

Get a job? I'm sorry, if it's not governmentally recognized or funded you should have no legitimate reason you cannot work. I don't know the situation though. But it sounds like you just need to whine about it.
