And maybe give some examples?

"When you felt most alive doesn't always have to be the happiest moment in your life."

What's been the happiest moment of your life? How about when you feel most alive?

Happiest moment was my wedding day. But I felt a sense of detached unreality, so it wasn't my "most alive" day. Those tend to come at moments of extreme physical accomplishment, like climbing a mountain or canoing a long distance. That contact with nature and my body makes me feel most alive. Standing on the edge of a cliff after climbing up to it is probably the best one I've had so far.

Hmm...probably like when (and sorry for the weirdness of this example) you're high off of heroin and you just feel so..there and alive..like you can fly. But you can't say it's your happy moment because it's not true happiness, just artificial.

I can't remember, but it must have been when I was talking to someone and I felt that I could talk to him about anything.

I felt most alive when I was on my sugar rush. Boy are those the times or what =)

Because you can feel most alive, in your worse moment. For example lets say you have been married to a man for 21 years, and he is diagnosed with cancer. You are by his bedside for months, helping him through this time. He soon recovers. Now, you felt most alive at this moment in your life because you were there for your loved one, helping him. He was depending on you. You helped me fight cancer and succeed. The whole situation definitely wasn't a happy moment, but it made you feel alive.

yeah, I was most alive in the army, and that wasn't exactly the happiest part of my life, i was getting fired at.

but at least I was out in the sun, and my friends were real, and the things that were happening were real.
