i notice alot of bad spelling on here..and people who correct the bad spelling in their answers..that really annoys me b/c some people have a grammer problem and dont need it pointed out to them! ever heard of the saying 'if you cant say anything nice dont say it at all' although when you get a perverted question and they've misspelt in it i love the payouts.. so i suppose then its acceptable..what do you think?

Yea its the people who correct it. I do it to my friends and family just to annoy them, lol. I don't do it on here though. I'm just here to have fun as is everyone else. Bad spellers don't need harrassment when they come on here!

I agree with you, it's mean-spirited. Who cares if a word is spelled incorrectly as long as you get the idea of the question. It's not a spelling bee! I only point out grammatical errors when the questioner is being deliberately rude. Otherwise I think it's a very petty thing to do.

They both annoy me!! I never point anything out to people. Whats the point anyway!!! Some people are in a rush to type, and that is why they spell wrong. Not a problem as long as it is understandable, but there is a spell check right there!!!!!!!!!

Poor spelling makes me judge the credibility of the rest of one's knowledge, but what annoys me are folks who correct typos. If you can't tell the difference btwn a typo and a misspelled word then that is worse than the original mistake, so the spelling police are definitely more annoying.

The people who correct it are much more annoying. As long as you can read the question and answer it, there is no reason to point out spelling errors.

It annoys me more when things are mis spelled or written in very bad grammar. I think some people who correct them are a bit harsh but I find the mistakes more annoying.

i don't think it's that the people can't spell (most of the time) it's that they're lazy and won't correct their typos or if they really can't spell, they don't care that they can't spell and won't try to better themselves but looking up words in the dictionary... or pressing that one link above this window i'm typing in now that says 'check spelling'... so it's probably mostly laziness. and that's annoying.

the people who cannot spell annoy me more, its yet another reminder of how poor the education systems are. Basic spelling is not being grasped, what hope is there

People who can't spell. I won several spelling bees, so it's a pet peeve of mine. Now that I said this, I'm probably gonna be misspelling words! lol
