This country really has too many uneducated people who voted for George Bush. He is the worst president in the history of our nation. He is an inarticulate baboon who doesn't even speak in full sentences. He is such an idiot.

Fat, Comfortable, Ignorant make poor citizens, but perfect subjects. So as we move more toward Imperialism and away from democracy those in power want subjects, not free thinking citizens. Rep or Dem. makes little differance it's about power.

Do you feel better now that you let out your little rant? I mean usually after I let off some steam I start to think clearly again and can maybe discuss things in a civilized manor. Lets go ahead here and take this point by point.

First, yes, there are an incredible amount of ignorant people in this country...on both sides of the aisle. Not all those uneducated and ignorant people voted for Bush. Look at the blacks, unfortunately one of the most uneducated portion of the population. Who do you think they voted for? So this argument holds no water.

You have no idea what history will say of President Bush because you have no idea what his programs and actions will do in years to come. Unless of course you are more accurate at reading the future than even Nostradamus was. If not, then this argument too holds no water.

He may be fairly inarticulate in an "aw shucks" kind of way, but that my friend is part of his appeal to what I'm sure you would consider "ignorant America" which in fact is less ignorant than you would know if you would only come out of your hole every now and then to talk to them. I'll give you the inarticulate part to a degree but this does not make him bad.

He is obviously not an idiot because he managed to get elected twice in this country and I don't want to hear about stealing elections and blah blah blah. If the democrats would have put up a half-way decent candidate either time we would probably not be having this discussion. Blame your own party for their failures not the other party for their successes. Again, the argument hold no water. Thanks and have a nice day.

Ignorance is nothing new, unfortunately. There have been ignorant people in this country for years. I remember in 1992 a bunch of women were on TV saying they were voting for Clinton because he was cute and they were tired of having to watch ugly Presidents on TV! Now that's ignorant. Makes me wonder about this country sometimes. That's just one example; ignorance goes back FAR beyond that.

Just because someone feels differently than you about something doesn't make them ignorant. It just makes them different. If they don't vote, that's being ignorant. If they don't do their homework and vote anyway, that's being ignorant. If they do their homework and vote their convictions, that's being patriotic.

You think George Bush is the worst President in history? How old are you? Pick up a history book and read about some of the others.

He is the man of action. Makes sense when he speaks and not everybody in your country is so called " educated ". Those people need a president too. I believe that he makes a mistake now by standing against the Parliament, thus showing disrespect for the Constitution of US and American people, too. He hangs on a never ending war without listening to anyone around him. This shows his weakness as a leader and a possible interest behind the curtains.

People like yourself Living in the "Sound Bite Generation" Getting there News from Big Media, Late Night Comedians and SNL have very short to little Life experience and Probably are educated beyond their means.

What would have life been with Al Gore in charge? Guess after 911 we'd just have gone over and talked those and Osama into being nice to our country and to leave us alone.

The last time I checked, AL Gore won the popular vote, but the election is not decided by popular vote, is it?

The second election, Bush did not have much of an opponent and people wanted him to start what he started in Iraq.

So there you have it!

Actually most uneducated people are democrats. But all that aside, our public school system is pathetic even though we spend more money on it than any other country in the world.

B/C we take things for granted, don't take responsibility for our own actions, and do whatever we want with little to no consequences. We are a very selfish nation.

Not talking about your little caption rant on GW, just the question you posted about ignorant people living in the U.S.

Another liberal genius adding his two cents to a reasoned intelligent debate, a real pleasure to read about it. Only one little problem, anyone who voted for that idiot Carter or playboy Clinton should be very careful about calling anyone ignorant.
