Okay, so I am 3 days late and that is unlike me... Its been a little while since the whole "sex" factor has played and I am thinking I have only been late once in the past 7 months and tested and that was negative... I tested the first day I was late and the test came back negative... is that to early and if so should I wait a little longer??? or would that test pretty much tell me if I was or wasn't?

I think you're ok, but test again or go get a blood test from the doctor. There are clinics that will do it for free also. there are false/positives in those home pregnancy tests, so just to make sure. Stress and worrying about being pregnant can also cause you to be late. Good Luck

well, I heard that having a change in the amount of times you have sex or if you havent been sexually active for a while and you just become sexually active it can delay your period just like changes in exercise or eating habbits can delay your period.
you could take a pregnancy test that could ease your mind. just read the back, if it says it can detect hCG concentrations of 20 mIU/ml then you could take one now because it is senistive to the hormone but if its not a test that gives early results (i.e. hCG concentrations of 50mIU/ml ) then you could wait a week or two). also try it with morning urine to be more accurate.
I'm in the same situation, 4 days late. new to sex, had protection every time. ordered some preg. tests off ebay (that are 20 mIU/ml so they are more acurate) and will take the tests as soon as they come in.
also, you havent told us whether or not you used protection, and what kind of protection you used.

It may be too early. You are suppose to be able to tell after the first day after your missed period but I would wait like 3-4 after missed period and test again. Good luck!

Once you are 7 days late, take another test.
And, don't forget that Feb was a short month.
It only had 28, not the 30/31 normally.
That would give you your 2/3 day lateness??????

i think u r ok because i was 1 week late this month may be its irregular cycle ur having now what u should do is go to the dr. and get a check up or just relax ur self for a while

well it seems like you might not be but wait 4 to 5 days test again then maybe it will come out!!! but i doubt it maybe its changing
