.....kinda swerve over to the right a little bit, so they have to slam on their brakes and drop back behind you? >: )

Give them as wide a berth as I can, and let them get ahead of me. Anyone that tries to pass on the shoulder is either reckless or drunk, and I don't want to be anywhere near them if they decide to swerve back into the travel lanes.

well I've never had someone try to pass me by driving on the shoulder...probably bc there are always cops on the freeway where I live..and well that's just plain stupid. But no I wouldn't do that- its a really great way to cause a bad accident and I would rather not be in or cause a car accident.

Not if they are passing my on the shoulder, but if I see someone trying to pass me on the other side, sometimes I will speed up so they have to slow down again...I wouldn't swerve though cuz with my luck I would hit them and cause some horrible crash!

Hey, it's your life......

Forgive me If I am a little serious here.....

In my opinion, If someone has that much road rage, that they are willing to not only drive dangerously, but to blatantly break the law, then you want to *avoid* them as much as humanly possible. This is a very angry person, with thousands of pounds of 70 mph steel in their grip! Why do you want to provoke him/her and risk a serious accident?

In my opinion, the best thing to do is to slow down, and let them pass, or at least, simply do nothing....

No I actually slow down a little and let them pass.No sense in everyone getting mad on the road especially if I have my daughter in the car with me.

Nah, I let 'em go. They are obviously in more of a hurry than I am. You never can tell if they have a family emergency or something of that sort.

Not really, usually if they're willing to take the shoulder and God only knows what's on that shoulder, I let them go for it.

I do what it takes to stay out of an accident. I'm a defensive driver, not a fool.
