I've been a waitress for over 5 years, and I have never done such a thing. This girl that quit a bit before I started spit in her exs food, but other than that I haven't heard of any one really doing it.
If I want revenge on someone there are better ways to do it, charge them a little more(most people don't notice it), let them wait longer for stuff I have control over, and I hate to admit it but Ive served a few dishes that had spots on them. It doesn't matter how bad a person is to me, spitting in food is stupid. Ignoring them is less effort and I know they don't like it.

I was a waitress while in college. I have never spit in anyone's food, but I know foe SURE that some waiters and waitresses do. That's not all. I have seen steaks put on the floor and then stepped on. Be very careful when you complain at a restaurant. If you are ugly to the server or the cook, it may come back to bite you in the butt. I don't condone this type of behavior, I am just telling you that it does happen.

I have heard of it in more that a couple occasions. It can happen when you bossy around the waiter/waitress. They are people and can make mistakes, but patrons think that since they are paying, the waiter/waitress is there slave to mistreat. Waiters/waitresses get back at these jerks by spitting in their food. They even put a couple of eye drops in it, which causes a major gas/runs problem...... It is called PAYBACK...

Speaking from experience, yes. I have to admit when I worked at Red Lobster as a waiter I'd done it before to the tables with the really nasty attitudes. Especially the one's who tried to tell me that my tip was hanging in the balance. Remember who you're pissing off when you yell at a waiter for the food's prep ;)

Yes I've heard of it from a family friend that was a chef for many years at really fancy restaurants- it doesn't matter where you are! waiters/waitresses/chefs do it at all kinds of restaurants when people are rude to them

PLZ IVE WAITRESS FOR OVER 15 YEARS AND YES I HAVE YOU GET THESE stupid b i t c h e s that never worked a day in there life and they want you to eat there p u s s y and go well above your duties and joke how they are not going to tip you. yes i did more than spit in there food. what about those wifes that think you need to kiss there a s s es .listen licking and kissing are not your servers job. its to make sure your food comes out right and warm and to keep the drinkd filled.and we like to be treated with the same curtisy you exspect when you go out. any thing less will get you some extra in your food. and i dont feel quil;ty about it at all. they deserved what they got.

I have heard of this.NO i would never do this.IF your caught you could go to jail. YOU could be fired.YOU could be on the tv news if cameras caught you. THERE are so many cameras around now i would never think of that.AAND to top it all off fellow employees would love to bust you 4 that . NO way wouldi ever do that. I THINK rotton people get their bad luck in life any way with out my help.

That's why i will never go out to eat to many times i have heard that happens. Anyway i like my cooking better than a restaurant food.

I saw a special on 20/20 where boys urinated in food being served to attorneys.
I could'nt work with anyone like that...I'd be in jail.
