when i clean out my tank i often move the ornaments around to "create something new for the fish" is this ok or should i leave them as they are?????

Absolutley. That is fine, and I do it myself. It stops aggression over territory and just looks cool to friends when they come to your house one day and it looks one way, then they come back and it looks different. So go ahead, let your creative side out!!

I dont think that they would mind the change why dont you make them an obstacle course - i remember seeing someone put a piece of tubing in a fish tank with a lever for a food dispenser at the end of it and the fish had to swim through the tube and press the lever to be fed - you should make sure that the tube is big enough of course otherwise it could get wedged and then you would have to teach another fish to push it out - ha ha

Moving the decorations is a good thing. lol
This actually helps cut down on some aggression in the tank because the fish don't have time to set up territories, and with no territory to defend they have no reason to fight.

Its mostly just for ascetic purposes. But changing the tank layout can stop fish from being agressive.

You can move them. Fish like the variety, and it breaks up territories and reduces aggression when you do. Go for it!

the fish dont really care. also if there had been any sort of territorial issues this will get rid of it. also it makes you happy. ;-]

Its fine, fish have a memory span of 3 seconds they dont even remember.
