I have dark hair, and sometimes it makes my makeup disappear. My skin on my face is pretty light.

actually lighter hair would make your skin look a little darker. Maybe you could try highlights. in a cinnamon tone. Or a caramel color with some highlights and lowlights. and always add a touch of blush to your face

Really dark hair can be too harsh on light skin. I wouldn't go blonde. A light brown, caramel, or a reddish shade would probably compliment your skin tone alot better. If you are getting it professionally done, the technician would be able to tell you the best shade for you. Also, use makeup that will compliment your hair, eyes and skin so that it doesn't disappear.

i put highlights in my hair and it washed me out. i'm really pale tho. maybe if u just went with a brown with red or gold hues to it similar to ur natural color but just a little lighter it wouldn't wash u out. if ur makeup 'disappears' then trying wearing brighter or more vibrant colors. i have green eyes and i love my brown but sometimes i'll wear purple or green, using several different shades on my lids and then using a darker green or purple liner. you could do the same thing with whatever color goes best with ur eyes and complexion, that way instead of changing ur hair color ur learning to work with it. hope i helped! and good luck! the world needs more color! lol.

Not if you go "to" light, maybe a couple shades?
