I have AT&T Yahoo and I've been using their online protection suite ever since it was called SBC Yahoo. It's exactly the same as the online protection suite you can get from Verizon Yahoo. The antivirus and antispyware are provided by Computer Associates (used by many Fortune 500 companies):

The biggest caution is to uninstall your Norton BEFORE downloading the Verizon protection suite. If two AV programs are running live (or real time) scans at the same time, your computer could crash because they see each other as a threat and go into an endless loop trying to nuke each other. Again, make sure you uninstall your Norton before downloading the Verizon protection suite. You didn't say which Norton you have so you might have to get with Symantec customer support for specific instructions.

I used to have Norton on my machines. When I switched to the free AT&T protection, the first thing I noticed was a tremendous increase in computer speed and an increase in hard drive space. I've not had a problem with spyware or viruses so I'm happy. Think you will be, too. Last but not least, here's a link for your free Verizon online security suite.

Take the MSN proper cost selection from Verizon. Verizon w/ MSN proper cost will grant you free: McAfee VirusScan McAfee personal Firewall Webroot SpySweeper alongside with another effective non-safe practices stuff like Microsoft digital photo Suite. and also you do not could use the crappy MSN Browser, both. about a $one hundred a three hundred and sixty 5 days in free safe practices software, very a lot that I definitely have had for years. the in person-friendly words virus safe practices that Verizon itself will grant will value you $5.00 a month and could no longer be worth it. BTW. some have stated that you take advantage of AVG... DON"T. AVG has terrible virus detection rates. strong success.
