The goldfish, Carassius auratus, was one of the earliest fish to be domesticated, and is still one of the most commonly kept aquarium fish. A relatively small member of the carp family (which also includes the koi carp and the crucian carp), the goldfish is a domesticated version of a dark-gray/olive/brown carp native to east Asia (first domesticated in China 2000 bc) Then to Japan which began breeding for color and form. Then was introduced to Europe in the late 17th century. The mutation that gave rise to the goldfish is also known from other cyprinid species, such as common carp and tench.
To make these hearty pond fish more appealing to the eye color breeding was also introduced from Japan in the late 17th century.

I don't exaactly understand the question, but I agree with mmct21. lol God made goldfish (and all other fish) and, of course, goldfish come from mother goldfish, which come from pet stores. I'm not really sure where they come from before that... I know they are native to China and Japan. You can check out this web site if you want. It tells a little about goldfish, and even how to take care of them.

Actually most Goldfish are in the same family as common carp. They have just been selectively bred to bring certain traits to the forground.
If you are looking for a country of origin I really don't know sorry.
