I have this friend and he has been going out with this girl for a couple months. He was known as the funny guy, the cool guy, he was just so awesome and everyone liked him. Now that he has this girl in his life he pretty much forgot about me and all of his other friends and now his girlfriend has the nerve to IM me and say nasty things to me. Not that it wasnt already bad she made it that much worse. My friend knows we still care about him but all he cares about is "his girl" he wont even call anymore, he wont go to the movies unless she can go, he wont even sit with us at lunch cuz shes not welcome. We dont want her there cuz honestly no one there likes her cuz of the things she says and does. Why should we welcome her if she cant even see the fact that he has friends. Please help ... I want my friend back!

if you are a guy, you should post your question in the gay, lesbian, transgender category.

the guy has a girlfriend now... he doesn't need a goofy friend serving as a fifth wheel and throwing a monkey wrench into the deal.

If you are girl... leave the couple alone. Ever hear the expression, two's company, three's a crowd?

Tell her to piss off. Does your IM save your messages? If it does, show your friend what she has said and tell him that if he doesn't want to be friends then he can piss off too. If he is going to treat you like your nothing then why should you help him? I'm not trying to be rude, but I've gone through this kinda stuff. My friend says she has a boyfriend and on her cell, she'll push the ringtone play button and act like shes talking to him.

If you want to be nicer about it, call HIM. DOn't sit around and wait for your phone to ring. Confront him. Tell him everything and if he's a stubborn kinda guy, yell. Do absolutely anything to make him understand. Even if you have to record a conversation between you and this girl and play it to him. He'll hear it all and possibly dump her. It can happen. Just believe.

Well, try to explain to him that if he just doesn't have enough time to be freinds with his original buddies over some stupid girl. Tell him how mean she is behind his back. If he doesn't feel bad or just doesn't care leave him alone and have nothing to do w/ him. Once she dumps him don't console him, don't pity him, make him pay for what a bad friend he was.

Your friend is going to be with his girlfriend and if you don't like her then you might not see your friend that often. I think it's wrong and he should still give you some time, but when someone has a girlfriend or boyfriend they usually just want to always be with them.

Well you really need to tell him about all the things she does, and how you feel. I'm sorry to say but was he ever a real friend? I don't mean to be offensive but...

I'm sorry but I'm not really experienced so I don't really know but I hope this helps.

If you want your friend back you need to accept his girlfriend. If you aren't willing to do that, then say goodbye to the friendship. If you can accept her, then do so. This behavior is normal for young people and new relationships. Good luck and God Bless.

honestly I also had a personal experience like that one except that I told him and I told him that if his girlfriend didn't catch the hint or that if he didn't change he was going to loose me as a friend

Have you talked with your friend about this problem you're all having? It really is his choice who he hangs out with... let him know how much he's missed by his old friends!
