Password for what?

Most password are not stored in a readable format. So logging onto the coputer will not give you access to most passwords. If it is for e-mail or a web site, use the "lost password" feature at the site.

If it is for a profile on the computer, log in as an admin and reset the password. Or create a new profile and move the data over to it.

But you usually can not read a password from you computer.

Most sites have options available to send your information to your email address. You're not gonna find it on the PC.
