Sounds to me like you and your wife need to connect again. Let her know the answer she gave you has been bothering you and even suggest a marriage review where both of you take some time and make a list of all the things going good in the relationship and all the things that could use some improvement you will be surprised at what comes out of it. My husband and I have been doing this around Anniversary time every year for the past 9 years and we are more in love and in-tune with each other than I ever thought possible. We started it at a suggestion from our counselor when we where on the verge of divorce. It helps to recommit yourself to something tangible rather than just an idea of happy ever after. Marriage is hard work but the rewards are worth it.

You must be beside yourself. I know how that feels. I do, too. It makes you feel like you are leading a double life. A bit schitzy but you get over that in time. Just stay on the meds. It sounds like you have a serious dichotomy to deal with, she is enjoying your identity crisis, you are perplexed by it. I can throw in a Reductio ad absurdum, if you like! (But you know how people get when we start using BIG words)

LOL that is funny, maybe you have been acting different in a way she likes or you are just taking it way to serious. Why dont you just talk to her and ask her is she was just joking or what she ment by that.
